Jana Kalbáčová Vejpravová
Full professor in condensed matter physics, head of the ‘Physics of Nanostructures group’
Main field: magnetism, condensed matter physics, low-temperature physics, nanomaterials.
Current focus: low-dimensional magnets, spin hybrids, magneto-Raman and photoluminescence spectroscopy, advanced magnetometric methods, magnetic field-assisted chemistry, magnetic fluid hyperthermia, structural and magnetic characterization of nanocarbons.
Other expertise: crystal growth and super-purification of transition metals and their intermetallic compounds, strongly correlated electron systems, X-ray and neutron scattering, synthesis and complex characterization of nanoparticles, and Moessbauer spectroscopy.
